Groundswell Participates in Panel at Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art
On March 21, “Women’s Visions for the Nation: What’s It Going to Take?” a panel discussion/speakout, organized by the intergenerational feminist think tank Unfinished Business, celebrated the 2nd anniversary of the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum. Moderated by Grit TV Host Laura Flanders, the panel discussed the challenges currently faced by women in the 21st century and potential ways forward. Groundswell Director Amy Sananman played an active role on the committee that organized the discussion, while Groundswell artists Nicole Schulman and Crystal Bruno participated in the panel debriefing session. Both artists facilitated a process for participants to engage in a "visual dialogue," providing a unique way for those in attendance who were not comfortable speaking in public to participate.
