PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In spring 2008, Groundswell artists worked with 3rd grade classes at PS 503 to create mosaic benches for the school. The artists worked with five groups of students, with each group assigned a section of the water cycle to focus on: sun; clouds; precipitation; runoff; and evaporation. Drawings from each team were replicated in mosaic form on three benches and two flower planters that are located the school’s lobby.
