PROJECT DESCRIPTION

As part of the Trust for Public Land’s renovation of the schoolyard at PS7X in the Bronx, artists Yana Dimitrova and Chris Beck transformed a school wall with a monumental ‘space’ panorama. The team of primary school children who worked with the artists were excited to participate in creating a mural reflecting their school’s motto – “Everyone is a Star”. As a result of bringing to life a sense of adventure and excitement in brilliant color, the team felt honored to be a part of the project and proud to leave their collective mark on their playground.
