PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This mosaic frames the entrance to PS506K in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Comprising of four panels, the imagery is derived from silhouettes of students reaching for stars and buffing them to make them shine brighter. The panels on the side frame the center images with swirling designs inspired by the Milky Way. The abstract stars are based on images of what the students imagined a new symbol could look like.
